Branch rules

Branch rules show different follow-up questions based on a respondent's answer. They make sessions adaptive without making them longer for everyone.

  1. 1

Open a session and go to the Questions tab.

  2. 2

Click Add branch rule on any question that should trigger a branch.

  3. 3

Set the condition: "If answer is [value], go to [question]."

  4. 4

The target question must appear later in the session — backward jumps are not supported.

  5. 5

Mark the source question as Terminal if the session should end when the rule triggers, rather than continuing to the next question.

  6. 6

The Readiness tab highlights each branch path — use it to verify your logic before publishing.
